The Simarghu team were on hand at the French TCC and trade show to demonstrate the Simarghu Fire and Gemini harnesses. They were kept busy over the 3 days, with demonstration requests and technical questions throughout the show and competition, held at Lille in France in brilliant sunshine.
There was a huge turnout of competitors, consisting of 8 female climbers and 57 male climbers. Justine finished strongly to take the women’s title and Jerome overcame a very competitive field to become the men’s champion.
Team Simarghu were supporting dealers ZAKI at this show and Julian was very excited about the possibilities the harness presented. He said “the adjustability in every area and the balance that can be achieved with the bridge positioning choices will make everyone able to have a ‘made to measure harness’, and being able to convert the harness into a full body with the addition of the Yoke is very important, saving the climber from buying two harnesses when one will do the work of two perfectly.”
Craig Johnson presented a fully translated 1 hour workshop, clearly showing the features and benefits of the new harness, which was attended by all climbers and many other interested parties.
Thanks to Julian and Michael Birchall for translations.
The Simarghu team will be in Namur, Belgium next week supporting dealers at the Belgium TCC and Show.
